Product Review: Good quality but smells of damp
Purchased this mattress last week. After we opened it we noticed a really strong smell of damp. We contacted the seller who responded that the mattress had been wrapped in plastic,which was still hot when used to wrap it, and that the mattress needed to be aired with an open window. Although when I have purchased mattresses in the past, airing has never been necessary. I am now editing my review, because after speaking to a number of people, I am now aware that this type of mattress does need airing and now the smell has completely gone, I am very pleased with the quality and workmanship. Would recommend this, but bare in mind it will need airing.
