Product Review: Solid well made bed.
I took the plunge and bought this bed as two previous beds ordered online and bought elsewhere other than Amazon were damaged on delivery and had to be returned.They were also considerably more expensive than this bed.I believe they were damaged in transit as they were heavy objects which one delivery driver was forced to handle.This bed was delivered by Amazon white glove delivery and was handled by three delivery men with an alloted time slot for delivery and carried by them upstairs to a bedroom.
The bed arrived in perfect condition and working on my own it took a couple of hours to assemble.This was relatively simple and straightforward.
It is a large solid and well made bed which looks as though it would last a lifetime.It looks better than in the pictures and the pine on the headboard and baseboard makes it look more expensive than it was.Although sold as unbranded the packaging stated that it was a Steens Furniture of Denmark Balmoral bed which on checking on the...
